Fischbach



The southern-eastern destrict of Nuremberg has its name from a brook which flows through the small town.

Surrounded by the Lorenzer Reichswald (forest) and protected landscape Fischbach offers its round about 5000 habitants orientation by nature combined with a very good public transport connection to the city of Nuremberg.

Together with the neighbour communes Altenfurt, Moorenbrunn and Brunn, Fischbach represent the southern-east periphery of Nuremberg.

The Pellerschloss, the Scheurl'sche Schloss, the Harsdorf'sche Schloss and the Romanic Chapel in Altenfurt are lovely things worth seeing.
